K4 recorder by Küng in collaboration with Maurice Steger and Ernst Meyer
– the new alto recorder, a copy after the original by P. Bressan, available in A = 442HZ, with a powerful and balanced sound in all registers has been established in collaboration between Ernst Meyer, Maurice Steger and Küng recorders. The result of this fruitful collaboration between a recorder builder, the leading musician on the instrument and the manufacturer has led to this impressive masterpiece which bridges the world of serial manufacturing and master piece building. Maurice Steger himself has been playing the grenadille version of the Bressan K4 since the beginning of 2012 in the biggest concert halls of the world to great success. This model is produced in two versions, a student instrument in stained pear wood for a student price as well as the masterpiece, hand crafted and voiced by Ernst Meyer himself in grenadilla wood, at a very fair price.
The recorder can be purchased directly through Küng recorders and also tried out on site in Schaffhausen.
