In addition to working as a soloist and conductor, Maurice Steger is also active as a lecturer. He regularly teaches master classes for the most promising recorder talents, whether at colleges of music or in dedicated master classes in places like the Musikadamie Solothurn or St. Moritz. Working with talented young people, teaching technique and musical knowledge – these things are just as exciting for Maurice Steger as performing his own shows.

His important educational project “Tino Flautino”, a musical fairy tale for children, is also very dear to Maurice Steger’s heart. Bringing a love for music, and music played on the recorder in particular, to a young audience is very important to the artist. In Switzerland, many children have already enjoyed the exciting tale of Tino Flautino.
